more carefully would percolate in total at the rate of 30 liters per hour and thereafter about 15 minutes. Half and hour later the percolating liquid was almost clear.
I notice that paint mixed with starch does not dry up well it shelfers [[?]] off. It could not be used unless starch is boiled first. I believe the addition of plain soap will be better.
After lunch had a consultation with Cohn of Cohn & Chounnien in regard to damage suit which has been started by some residents near the works.

I was at the house of Mr. Willard Hooker situated next [[stirkethough]] doo [[strikethrough]] to complainant and that I had failed to see any sign of damage. No rusty metal not the slightest damage to vegetation all their plants vegetable gardens rose bushes etc. were in exceedingly flourishing condition. Between 5 P.M. and 7 P. M. I was aware at intervals of a faint smell of bleach - not chlorine-. Mr Cohn tells me that complainants assert that yesterday about 6 P.M. there was a strong chlorine smell. They were evidently mistaken. I have been around the works for the last three days and I know that no serious amounts of gas could possibly escape without I being aware of it
