Sept 6. Niagara. Clifton House.
Met 10 A.M. Townsend, E. H. Hooter, W Hooker, Alf Hooter, Paulies, Stone, Riely at works.

I was chairman on committee of selection of Cells. Had direct meeting took lunch at office. Went to see cells in cell rooms. Resumed discussion at 3 P.M. and kept at it all day then again after supper at night until past 11 P.M. 
I was made chairman of committee on cells and cell plant installation.

Perfection of experimental cells. First question size of units. Marsh advocates 6000 A units everybody else against. Townsend, Albert Hooter & Willard Hooker for 2000 A. units

Sperry, Stone, Paulies & myself. 4000 A. units. A long discussion until 6 P.M. eliminates hydrostatic on high pressure type [[strikethrough]]and[[strikethrough]] so as to consider only low pressure type 
Supper at Clifton Hotel & new session lasting until about 11 P.M. I felt very tired.
Sept 7. Left margin)) Left about 9 A.M. for the works. various committees on several subjects as diaphragm, anodes, power plant, operation, etc.

Took lunch at plant resumed session of committee on cells, as to determine size and arrangement of electrolytic plant. 
Several proposals eliminated . a few left. dinner at Clifton Hotel were frequent  [[strikethrough]]where I met[[strikethrough]] Burn(^h)am [[strikethrough]]son of[[strikethrough]] & Montgomery two new employees
