Dear Sir
      I have already given your letters to [[Redpath?]], or rather to Morse his partner, who does all the correspondence  I am sorry now that I did not take them back again and return them to you. [[Redpath?]] gave me the $25. - and says now, that the mistake was made by a clerk in the office.      
I agree with you that it looks a little strange, although we all know that mistakes will happen.
As to your own intentions, be assured that I had no thought of questioning them.
