From what I observed in this bay I judge P. Sitchensis to constitute say 50 to 60% of the coniferes here, Tsuga heterophylla about 25-30% and T. Mertensiana say 15 to 20% but T. Mertensiana is the prevailing tree on the sphagnous marshes.
