Now is this not strange?  I very much love my wife and children and yet I feel that now they are away for a few days [[underlined]] I [[/underlined]] am having a vacation.  Why do I feel so?  My way of living is simpler than ever before. nothing special happens.  It is this fact that every change is welcome.  Variety is the spice of life.  I shall go to bed earlier than usually. get thru my meals earlier than usually and yet I am not sorry at all that my dear wife and children are away for awhile. [[underlined]] for - awhile. Thurlow made me a disc of B. Bakelite on press to day which is so far superior to a disc of Shellac made under the same conditions as to reinforce my belief in Bakalite which during the last few weeks has become rather modest.
