Color ^ [[insertion]] of body [[/insertion]] pellucid greenish white, with extensive curdy-white bowel-like markings, occupying nearly all the body but a dorsal line on jts. 4 - 12. Joints with an indistinct horny plate tinged in front with tawney yellow, & two divergent striae [[image]] on hind 1/2. Legs tinged at tip with same color, & rising from large bulges. Prolegs each pair represented by two ^ [[insertion]] nearly [[/insertion[[ confluent bulges ^ [[insertion]] each [[/insertion] with a double transverse series of about 10 fuscous flat teeth [[image]], separated by a furrow, which opens & shuts. On joint 10 forward row of teeth consist of only 2 or 3. None at all on anal jts, the terminal 1/2 of which a pale greenish white with no curdy markings. Head retractile; tawney at tip & at extreme tip, as well as mouth, fuscous. Spiracles normal. [[line]] May 31. Some larvae still locomotive.
