come down to the bottom of the main cañon.
On the north slopes are occasional small patches of piñons ^ [[insertion]] [[underlined]] Pinus monophylla [[/underlined]] [[/insertion]] which in one case come down to about 200 ft above Cameron Station.
[[underlined]] Yucca arborescens [[/underlined]] occurs westward as far as Cameron station, and . [[underlined]] Yucca whipplei [[/underlined]] goes eastward in small patches or singly nearly to the mouth of the pass.
After leaving Mojave we proceeded southward, or southwestward into Antelope Valley and went into camp about 8:30 at Willow Spring.  The entire area over which we passed is in upper [[underlined]] Larrea [[/underlined]] and sparsely supplied with [[underlined]] Yucca ^[[insertion]] arborescens [[/insertion]] [[/underlined]]
In some portions there are slight depressions with dry clay deposits and these are provided with [[underlined]] Atriplex canescens [[/underlined]] and [[underlined]] A. polycarpa [[/underlined]].
Following is a list of plants seen this afternoon.
