AEOS

U.S. NAVAL AIR STATION
PATUXENT RIVER MARYLAND

11 October 1943

Dear Margie;

Your letter written the 7th came
today and did me a good world of good.
It's a pity you had trouble with
the heater just as a cold snap arrived
and I hope none of you suffered from it.
The soreness in my head has cleared
up to a fair extent and ought to be
well out in another day or two. Our flight
orders have finally come through and as
soon as they are endorsed, I can draw
some warm equipment. The g[?] are
not here yet and I sent in a query
for them today.
How I should have loved to see Tommy
in his new suit. It's touching the way
he likes things of that kind and yet
never begs for them.

Do you hear from Bob?
I'm going to turn in early
I love you,
George.
