34.2 Neomamillaria sp. Chivela, Oaxac. Apr. 19, 1934 C.D. Mill, coll. Mill's label reads "This is a small sprout from a cluster of a dozen or more.  The clusters are sometimes as large as a man's head.  They occur on rocks (limestone) either in dry or wet places, occasionally in streambeds."
