A small shell was obtained from the sandstone. No fossils yet observed in the limestone. _

Sd. dips more to the N.
8 White lmst S.W. 300 feet or more. The hill to the southwest are brecciated limestone [[?]] a blueish to + the strata are [[?]] at a high angle 30 degrees to 40 S. W. dip as far as examined. Owning to the complexity of the bedding of the strata etc + the fact that it is very rare to find good outcrops, I gave of looking any further as, the time for [[leaving the?]][?] ]?] [end page]
