celluloid from Celluloid Co.  same is shredded ground and dried mixed with ground Ivory 100 mesh.  H. says bone does not work as well as ground ivory.  This mass is introduced in a special filling mixture devised by Burroughs where it is introduced under slight pressure in powder form from a tube conduit, directly in mold.  (This would be excellent for general molding purposes, specially for grindstones).  This I believe is pressed further on press molds for balls are as follows so that ball is not spherical but with flat

edge around equator.  All balls put now in hot hydraulic press for fifteen minutes; then wrapped in some waterproof resinous paper then provided with two hemispherical pararubber caps which [[strikethrough]] give it [[/strikethrough]] overlap so as to give it impervious envelope.  The latter are tied on by means of cotton string and are now ready to be placed in Hyatts "water-gun".  Long horizontal very thick walled steel (or bronze?) cylinder provided with safety valve and manometer and steam jacket and connected with hydraulic pump.
