The most severe shock was experienced when the end of the coil was drawn along the necks of the cups forming the communication a continued series of shocks was thus obtained. The sensation on myself was a peculiar & thrilling in both arms - When one cylinder was put into the mouth a shock was felt in the other arm and in the teeth When Dr. W. put one cylinder into the mouth, the other being held in the hand, a shock was only [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] felt in the arm grasping the cylinder now in the mouths and the only muscles apparently affected was in [[strikethrough]] all [[/strikethrough]] both cases the same as mentioned above.
