Note. It remains to be noticed, that the Tully Limestone, found on the southwest corner of Lot 89, La Fayette, is about 150 feet lower than the out-crop on Meeker Ridge, near Samuel Caughey's
house, about one mile southeast of this.
At several exposures of the Hamilton Shales, as also at the above=named falls, the rocks are all horizontal.
The line of the Tully Limestone, from Tully northward is quite strongly undulating - thus somewhat like this.

Note 2. Onondaga Creek runs in a much lower valley than the Tioughnioga runs in, probably 250 or 300 feet lower.
Across its southern end is a moraine of about 300 feet high.
