This is on the east part of Lot 88, on the farm of Mr Sanches.
Here, some thirty feet up the hill, is exhibited the same Coarse, calciferous sandstone ^ [[insertion]] or arenaceous limestone [[/insertion]] mentioned  yesterday.
1201 D. Interesting specimens.
This afternoon I go up the Gaylord Gulf to the falls. The same arenaceous Limestone forms the floor of the Gaylord Gulf, for over forty feet. It is here about 15 inches thick.
In the wall of Hamilton Shales forming the fall, the shale presents usual appearance, until near the top. The upper layer simulates the lower member of Tully Limestone. In fact the 150 feet of Hamilton Shales
