Dear Cady:
Your check slid under my door one day last week.

I will try to collect my wits and cash the check tomorow and give the painting to the packing man. I feel you don't really like the painting so it is difficult for me to get myself to do anything about it.

Maybe I will try to make you another painting. If I do - and you like it better I guess you will be willing to exchange it - 

I guess we will have to let it go at that.

I would really have like to have you take the deers head - it is for me very perfect in a delicate kind of detail that I think
