Transcription Notes:
Almost certain it is Metlakatla; As confirmation the Harriman Expedition passed through. "The village, on Village Point, Port Chester Bay, Annette Island, Alaska, was originally known as New Metlakahtla. The "New" was subsequently dropped and the Post Office changed the spelling to "Metlakatla" in 1904." - Wikimedia Commons
