May. 9. Slept pretty well but felt tired on arrival. Got in Yonkers at about 1 P.M. Feel tired took nap and dictated all afternoon voluminous belated correspondence.
May 10. News of Pollak's white material. Spent some time in lab giving orders to duplicate some former results of mine relative white goods. Dictated many letters and Miss Evans kept typewriting till about 7.P.M. Was glad to get order of General Electric for one barrel liquid A. this is certainly progress.
