forgotten and our little war with these five stout Germans beside Lewis and myself had to perform hard work.  Arrived at Snug Rock  showed them my laboratory and all samples of my work  gave them glass of port wine. Then with Dubois in car - 8 in all drove up north as far as Tarrytown, then supper then after that talked business. I grew eloquent read them my prospectus and then drove them all home to New York stayed a while at German Club then Lewis drove us back. I feel rather tired after this strenuous day and fell asleep only late.
June 14. Hooker came to see me to have further advice on

Wickes says Bakelite has great qualities and thinks defects will be easily overcome. Townsend to send them disc so as to let them try themselves. Drove them back to Dyckman street station
