worthless patents for them.  I shall expose him. to Peters and Williams.  Talked until late with Seabury, feel very nervous. Poor sleep, spent most of the night restless reading and writing these notes.  Am [[underline]]disgusted [[/underline]]with [[underline]]Benjamin[[/underline]].  
Any generous action is lost or misenterpretid by such fellows. [[underline]]I shall be on my guard [[strikethrough]] [[with?]] [[/strikethrough]] against him and not trust him.[[/underline]]

Sept. 16.  Called [[underline]]Williams[[/underline]] at phone notified him about what I had heard from Seabury and warned him against [[underline]]Benjamin[[/underline]]  He says he has told Brock beforehand he [[underline]]was not responsible as to any statement made by Benjamin[[/underline]]  Seems to know his man! Called up [[underline]]Wiedmann[[/underline]] and explained him my misgivings and told him not to be influenced by
