Afterwards had useless and tiring discussion with Dubois and May concerning contract with Stevenson Brothers.
Supper at Mouquin downtown. Then went to see farce. comedy. CO.P.
home with 11:20 P. M. train

Nov. 15. (Saturday). Home all morning and afternoon. Douglas Mc Murtrie submits estimate for Hooker's book.
Nov 17. (Sunday) Busy all day writing address on [[red underline]] Intellectual Property [[/red underline]]
Nov. 18. Here all day dictating etc
Nov. 19. Early to N.Y. at 10 A.M. long conference [[red underline]] De Muth [[/red underline]], Dubois, May and myself relative to allowing Tobacco Trust to have our pipe stems or not. [[red underline]] De Muth [[/red underline]] urges us to defer for awhile Dubois and May seem to think otherwise.
Specially Dubois. I would sooner try [[red underline]] to encourage De Muth in his work of introduction [[/red underline]]
