Sept. 24.  See at Mr. Bendels house several Buccinums a 
Pecten, Rhynchinella, Margarita with a very open umbilicus different from any species I have ever seen and a number of other shells.
Get several Pectens out of a flounder.  Pick up a large Cardium Nuttallin on the beach.  Get some mussels with Collisella
patina attached to them.
Fish over the side of the vessel and catch a codfish three flounders
