He began in a very jolly way about lunching with such respectable old fellows as [[underlined]] Moses [[/underlined]] & [[underlined]] Aaron [[/underlined]]. I told him I saw the joke as far as Aaron was concerned, but where, O where! was the Moses! 
  Why, says he - Aint your name Moses? Said I, "not as I knows on - who told you that?" "My, [[underlined]] Church [[/underlined]]! Confound that fellow! he never seems to be satisfied unless he's getting off some joke or other on me."! The other day he was in. & when I let him out of the door he [[underlined]] hoisted his umbrella [[/underlined]] & started off down stairs!
  I have put a lot of camphor in the drawer with your brushes, & caulked it up tight with the following inscription -
  "No admittance [[underlined]] for moths [[/underlined]] (    ) on business." Our friend Marshall (he of the Washington & Lincoln fame)
