Nov 15.  Dictated some phonographic records.  then Townsend came. to

On Evening George and myself went to select some phonograph records at Steadman's Store

Spent most of day correcting formulations of patents cited by [[red underline]] Nikolas [[/red underline]] Evening dictated in phonograph while the children were entertaining their visitors

Nov 17. Beautiful bright day 
Miss Evans reports [[red underline]] perfect results with dictating machine [[/red underline]] Jones here to review work of Gothelf on Nikolas case
Nov 18.  Beautiful weather.  Went to office. Then to Perth Amboy. [[red underline]] Three stories up of new building [[/red underline]] but no windows. Jones ill so could not see his samples.
Nov 19.  Dictating machine man here.  Made up my mind to buy it
Nov 20.  Met Townsend at [[red underline]] Neave's [[/red underline]] office.  Conferred further about [[red underline]] Nikolas suit [[/red underline]] Then went with Townsend and Bowman to lunch at Drug Club  
Later met [[red underline]] Grosvenor [[/red underline]] at McKenna's laboratory and [[red underline]] arranged list for trustees for [[/red underline]] next election of Chemists Club  Then took supper with Townsend at Chemists Club then went
