The Prize Contest
When I broke my limb in the early spring of nineteen - twenty - three, I felt I would never be able again to have flowers. When some one brought a boquet and stayed to talk flowers I would tell them what success I had with Burpee's seed and show the catalogues.
My peppers from Burpee's seed were much larger and better flavored than any my neighbors grew. When canned they were far superior to the canned pimentoes bought here.
The past spring I tried a few flowers. My poppies were beautiful, due to the long, cool spring and Burpee's seed. 
The morning glories still greet
