FOR PRIZE CONTEST.

Began using Burpees seeds thirty years ago, while living in a small Kansas town. For several years my annuals took first premium at the County Fair. Have a set of solid silver Tea Spoons purchased with the prize money. Sixteen years ago we came to Kansas City to live and for a number of years lived in an apartment. Five years ago we bought our present home, and again have a small flower garden. For a year or two bought seeds from the corner store and plants from the greenhouse, with indifferent success. Two years ago again ordered seeds from Burpee, with the result that last summer and fall my astors were the talk of the town. My husband had a boquet in his office that attracted so much attention I received an invitation to join Amatuer Flower Garden Association, exhibit my astors and tell how I raised them. Growing flowers from Burpees seeds has helped me in regaining health after severe ilness, renewed interest in life when life seemed hopeless, but above all has opened my eyes to the wonders of the world created by a loving Father and filled with beautiful trees, flowers and birds.
