For Prize Contest.

What Burpee's Seeds Have Done
For Me.

They have helped to keep my two little boys, aged three and two years, out of our neighbors' gardens. We live in a tenement house and there are gardens on both sides of mine.

By letting the children help in the garden and explaining to them about the seeds and plants and flowers, they do not bother the other gardens. They do not go into my garden unless their father or I am with them.

Anyone having a garden can understand how maddening it is to have small children getting into it and ruining it. People with children know how it makes bad feeling between neighbors to have the children doing damage in the gardens. So I think Burpee's seeds helped to teach the boys to let the garden alone.
