"What Burpee's Seeds Have Done For Me."

All my life I lived in the city, until two years ago, we moved to the suburbs. Reared in drab surroundings, with only bare necessities and no comforts, I was bitter and felt cheated somehow.

I loved flowers, (those I had seen in florists windows) so I bought seeds and sowed them. Half of the seeds germinated, but the flowers were so small. I saw your advertisement in a magazine, and sent for your catalogue. I ordered some seeds and sowed them. I was amazed at the results, almost every seed germinated, and the flowers were as large as you could wish for.

Since then, I have a new interest in life. I have made many good friends, through your seeds, and somehow the world seems brighter for that little patch of color in my back yard. I shall never feel poor as long as I have money to buy a packet of your seeds. I have not been a customer long, but Burpee's seems like a wonderful friend to me. A friend for a lifetime.

Yours sincerely
