120 July 20th 1890 Sunday.
I have ridden three times and bathed four this week. Sybil and I had our lesson in painting Thursday. I drove with her [[strikethrough]]Monday[[/strikethrough]] Tuesday went to the tennis club Wednesday, played tennis with her Friday sewing class at the cottage Saturday, and a walk Sunday. So I have certainly seen enough of Sybil this week. But I like it, for she is so nice and does not tire one in the least.
Harry W. has been here to see Bill several times but I have only seen him to bow to. Jay B. I have

met twice riding, he bows beautifully. The sweetest of smiles, and etc.
There are usually nothing but old and young boys at the beach so you have not the pleasure of watching the strange women who dance up and down so crazily.
I have just finished "A Strange Story" by B. It is an extremely interesting and exciting book. Strange is hardly expression enough for it is really strangely strange. The doctor who tells the story is such a charming man, that I wish he was alive and in Newport. It has given me a desire to read some more of his works.
