Miss Taylor in blue and white was handsome.
Miss Goddard in white looked charming.
Miss Stone in blue looked well, and Emma in white & pink really very pretty. There were many others who also looked exceedingly well. Miss Tooker, Miss Wilson etc.
I did not go much among the people, but still some people who came on the piazza where I was, I was forced to talk to.  Two gentlemen, one old the other medium came up, I could not escape.
The older one said he had crossed on the ship with me a year ago, he was afraid I did not remember

him, I was forced to say no. We talked a little then he said: "You have grown, yes a good deal." I hate to be told that.  The other gentleman stood and stared. He had a nice face. Interesting. 
I afterwards found out the older one was Mr Phiney. I remember him now. 
Friday Alfred took me in his cart to the hunt. We were there at the meet but did not go to the kill as Alfred did not want to tire the pony. It met at ᵥ[[insertion]] the top [[/insertion]] Honeymoon Hill, but there were not very many people there. We got behind a slow pony with a girl and Mark in the cart, and so had to walk along grass roads until we could pass. But
