the fellows keep their boats.  Coming home the boys had the box seat.  It only rained a little when we started, the rest of the way I enjoyed very much.  We did not get home till quarter to seven after an agreeable but wet day.

We went on the Serpentine this morning and I almost rowed my arms off.  This afternoon we enjoyed at German Reeds.  The first part of the performance

is a play and this was very nice.  The girl in it is very pretty indeed, sweet and simple.  The last part Mr Corny Grain immitated and tell about some young college fellows.  This is very funny and well done.
June 13th. 1890. Friday
Fraulein got back early this morning so she went with us to Eastborne. The weather was very bad early but when we got out of London it cleared up a little.  We took the 9.45 train arriving at Eastborne at 11.35.  We took
