Disagreeable cold drizzly rainy day. All the trees are coated with ice, the wires are fringed with icicles, the ground slippery and the rain pond in front of Bodman's is more that 60 ft across but I don't know how deep. Jut and Don came around and we talked

Thursday Feb 22 [[/preprinted]]
HOLIDAY
Thunder storm last night. The wind blew 95 miles an hour. The rain pond has gotten big about 100 ft across. A thin coat of ice got on but we busted in for luck and Bee's home
[[image: drawing of a stick man paddling a canoe]] made canoe. I got a bunch of rides in it and it's quite unsteady. I took one alone and it went swell. The hill was all ice and we slid down on the bobtail and ^[[inserted]] some [[/inserted]] boards. I nailed a small bathtub on a board, sat in it and it was great fun.[[strikethrough]] We [[/strikethrough]] I coasted down into the pond from the hill a little ways. One time it capsized on the edge of the pond and I got wet. The wind blew like fury all day.
