Played tennis with Bill for a while. We did up one set and I beat him 6-1. Later we went in swimming at Lloyd's beach with Harry Anthony and Jack. It wasn't as good there as over at Warren's. In the afternoon Bill and I watched Lloyd fix up his skiff and then we went to play golf. We only made four holes and I did it in 60 and Bill in 47. I got stuck in a bunker wasting about 15 shots. It was out first game anyway.
The number on the right upper hand corner of the page indicated how many times I have been in swimming this year.

Played tennis with Bill for a while. He beat me 3-1 in games until we went to the Little Compton Commons in the Sinclaire's auto where he bought $4.00 worth of fireworks. We fooled around the point till 3 oclock when the boat went out. From there we went to the club and played golf. We rounded the whole course of 9 holes at 102 points each. Pretty punk because it should be done in 35. It took on one hole 22 points because we both got stuck in a bunker and never did we get mad. I found a golf ball on the course which I kept. It was called the "Goodsrich Bullet:" I have 8 or 9 golf balls now which I found on the course and painted.
