I played golf with Bill and Winton. At the seventh hole Bill gave up and went home. Winton scored 70 and I 72. In the afternoon I called Bill down and we went swimming off the King's float with Jack and Joe Beck. Joe Beck was the only one who couldn't swim. It was swell because the water had reached bearable temperature. Bill and I dived in a couple of times. The rest of the afternoon we spent in the King's dance hall
