Bill came down and we went swimming off the float with a bunch of others from the Kings and it was swell. In the afternoon Winton and I helped Lloyd carry a tree we felled in the Swamp Woods for a mast. It was no cinch to carry it home. When we got there we went swimming off the float (except Winton) with Will, Ralph and Jack. Never did we have fun.
In the evening Ralph, Russell, Harry, Joe, Jack and I played hockey with the golf clubs up in the pavilion at King's. There are many fisherman in the harbor who have cat-boats and catch lobsters, swordfish and other fish. There are many farms around too.

Played two set of tennis with Winton in the morning. He beat one 6-3, I beat 6-2. After that a whole bunch of us went swimming off the float. Some grown up people were there too. In the afternoon Bill, Winton and I went down into the depths of the thick Macfadan's woods. Winton crawled home because we scared him telling him about bears and things. Bill could'nt go swimming to-day.
In the evening Bill and I went down to the dance at the Sakonnet Inn. We did'nt dance but we drank a heap of lemonade.
