[[underlined]] Wednesday 8.[[/underlined]] I fixed the shelves in Marys Green room. after dinner James Patterson brought Mrs. Peale home and he then went to the Fair. Edward has been there all day. George took a load of Laggings to St Clair and brought back coal for his house.

[[underlined]] Thursday 9.[[/underlined]] at noon Mary and I went up to Potte. I took my set of teeth to Mr Woodnot the Dentist next to Mr. Russels office in second St for him to repair, and left them with him, he finished them by dusk, it was then too late to return home. I lodged with James Patterson and Mary at Brother Georges. 64° calm, clear -.-.[[dashes standing in for incomplete weather notes]]
[[underlined]] Friday 10 [[/underlined]] Mary and I came home soon after breakfs. I procured twine &c.
Albert came from Shamothen last evening. Edward had the pails nailed on the fence apposit the house and all the currant bushes taken up & the suckers of the Alanthus tree &c.
Miss Sarah Levan & two Ladies came this afternoon

[[underlined]] Sunday 12[[/underlined]] Mrs Peale Mary & Albert went to S. Haven, but as Mrs. Latimer is still quite ill there was no service in the church. This afternoon Frederc Patterson & his two sons came down.

[[underlined]] Monday 13.[[/underlined]] Eddy Patterson brought down a spring wagon full of Pot Plants for us to keep over winter as they have no place to keep them. I have been buisily employed about the house all day. On saturday Geo. took a load of Laggins to St. Clair and brought back coal.

[[underlined]] Tuesday 14.[[/underlined]] Edward and I went to the Election at the 7 stars, and then went to see Genl. Winder, concerning the new Rail-road from West Branch &c. After dinner Mrs. Peale, Mary, Louisia & Fanny went to Orwigsburg to see about repairing the [[Soffa]] &c. I fixed some shelves in Marys greenroom.
