Edward and George went up Long Run to put up the Hay press and bailed one bail before dinner.
Eddy Patterson came down this afternoon & brought me some articles from his Father.

Edward and his men have been bailing hay all day 27.

took up and stowed away all the Dahlia's and Gladiola's J.M. Campble 2 sons and friend came down this morning & spent the day in hunting.

[[underlined]] Thursday 1 [[overwritten 3 on 4]]. [[/underlined]] I painted all the afternoon on No.85. In the morning I repaired the flower stand, mixed paint for Mary to paint her beaureau &c. Ed. men have been bailing hay all day.

[[underlined]] Sunday 16.[[/underlined]] Edward, Louisia & Mary went to church this morning it being too cold for me to go. We have had no company today.

[[underlined]] Monday 17 [[/underlined]] I painted all day on N 65. the day has been very dark, it commenced to rain the latter part of the night, & continued all day

[[underlined]] Tuesday 18 [[/underlined]] I painted a part of the day on N 85 and the remainder of the day looked at Mary painting the same subject for my improvement.
