Friday [[underlined]] [[strikethrough]] Saturday [[/strikethrough]] 18. [[/underlined]]  I worked a little this morning in the garden, put a new lock on our front door, the other being broken and attended to various matters about the house  James Patterson, Matilda & Flora came this afternoon but didnot stay to supper. Mary came in the carrs to S. H. and Edward brought her home. Edward and John Patterson have been making currant wine today. got in a small load of hay and finished cutting the wheat, back of the barn.

[[underlined]] Saturday 19. [[/underlined]] I worked all the morning in the garden  I wed the Albany Seedling bed etc. John Cunningham came about noon. George and John have been cutting the Rye in Back field with the machine all day. Edward & John Patterson has been all day making Currant wine, they made yesterday 2 barrels and the same today.

[[underlined]] Sunday 20. [[/underlined]] Nothing in particular occurred today, John Cunningham went up to Potte. in the carrs this evening. Edward Louisia & Mary accompanied him in the carriage to S. H. in the carriage.

[[underlined]] Monday 21. [[/underlined]] I have painted the greater part of the day, began a small fruit piece, being a copey from Margaret Peale, Peaches & Plumbs N. 79.
Edward, Louisia and John Patterson went to Potte. this morning, John remained there. Brother George & Lydia came this morning and stayed but a short time.
Took in all the wheat back of the barn.

[[underlined]] Tuesday 22. [[/underlined]] Nothing particular today. Edward went this morning to Potte. This afternoon Mrs. Peale and Mary went to Mr. Newells, took supper at Mr. Levans.   
A foundered horse came this morning to pasture.
Cutting Rye all day. in back field.

[[/underlined]] Mrs. Peale, Mary & I went in the carriage to Potte. this morning on a visit to brother George, he had just gone to Juniatta on business for Burd -  it comd to rain before we got to Potte. & occasionaly during the day. took supper at James's he had gone to Ashland. This morning. 60°. calm s e, clo 10 s.e. ___. ___. ___. ___.
