Louesia and Harriet wento Orwigsburg this afternoon. we have had quite a family circle, with the exceptation of Charles & his son & daughter who are at Lebonan.

[[underlined]] Monday 9. [[/underlined]] I painted all day on N. 86. 
My son J. Burd went to his station this morning, May & Edward went to the Landing with him.
 At noon Maryeliza & Miss Campbell went to Schuylkill Haven in the carriage with Louesia and May. 
Mr. W. Levan sat to Mary this morning. Mr. Graef came to set but was disapointed as Mr. Levan was setting. I packed up the fruit piece N. 85 to go to Washington with Burd's baggage for Titian.

[[underlined]] Tuesday 10th. [[/underlined]] Harriet went this morning to Philada. Edward took to the Landing in spring wagon, she took the 3d. snow piece that I painted and Mary presented a Madona that she painted.
  Mr. Wolf sat to Mary this morning.
I made two stretching frames, repaired the brick lining of the studio stove.
  May & Mary went this afternoon to S.H. May got a letter from Burd saying he was detained in Harrisburg several hours & would be also at Balte, his leave of absence expires tomorrow evening, he therefore can stay but a little while to transact business this evening in Washington.

[[underlined]] Wednesday 11 [[overwrites 26]]th. [[/underlined]] I made stretching frame this morning as Mr. Woolf was setting to Mary and in the afternoon I painted on N. 86. Edward, Louesia & Fanny went this morning to spend the day at Tho. Walkers, got home after dark.
It commenced to snow soon after four oclock.

[[underlined]] Thursday 12. [[/underlined]] I made a stretcher this morning and in the afternoon painted on N. 86.
Edward went to Reading this morning.
It has been raining all day or drizzling.
