Edward felt quite unwell stopped at Dr. Carpenters, got some medicine, on his return Dr. Shannan attended him, he is rather better this evening.
Three men have been at work all day in digging the trench for the water pipes from the large spring.

Miss Sarah Levan brought the Revd. Mr. Cramer [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] and Daughter this afternoon they are from Lebonan, German Reformed.
Edward in much better today is out attending to business.
Revd. Mr. Wolf also came.
The men have been working at the trench.
George took a load of Baled Hay to St. Clair and brought back manure.

[[underlined]] Saturday 20. [[/underlined]]  Mrs. Peale was uncomfortable last night and has not been so well today, this evening she seems composed.
This morning Charles took Albert and Clarra to Potte. got home early this afternoon, he took up his calculating apparatus and left it with Mr. Bannan for inspection & to get purchasers for them @ $10 each.
I have done but little except wating on Mrs. Peale.

Mr. Jennings sent two horses to pasture this morning.

I have been with her the most of the day.
