Today I have been much better than I have been for some time past.

Edward brought this evening Mrs. Huntzinger to be with her and relieve Mary
This afternoon a part of the Hay Press fell on the leg of a boy that was assisting in baling, I mgnetisted it and removed the pain and reduced the swelling of his ancles. Sent him home this evening to Orwigsburg.
Recd. a trunk from Charles filled with Sweet Potatoes & Peaches this evening. And a box of Frame's for Marys Pictures from the gilder.

[[underlined]] Sunday 11.[[/underlined]]  Mrs. Peale is about the same as yesterday, had a restless night she has been very quiet all day, pulse very feeble breathing rather quick. this evening rather slower.
James & Matilda and Emma came down this morning bringing Harriet& Clara home.  Dined here & went up this evening.
Mrs. Peale slepped this afternoon and seems better.

It's "mgnetisted". Peale mentions a number of times in diary using magnet/magnetization (spelled many creative ways) as a "medical" treatment of Mrs. Peale and others. Look in Wikipedia, it has a long history, though efficacy questionable probably other than placebo effect.
