[[underlined]] Thursday 22 [[/underlined]] I painted the greater part of the day on N 104.
Mary went this morning with Edward to Potte. she remained there and Edward brought this evening Harriet & Clarra from S. Haven by agreement.  
Mary took her Partridge piece framed to Mr. Luther and the Pheasant piece to Josep Patterson.

[[underlined]] Friday 23. [[/underlined]]  I painted all day on N. 104. 
Lieut Theadore Patterson brought Mary home this afternoon from Potte. & supped with us.
Mrs. Towers has commissioned me to paint a Landscape for her, she is much pleased with the Partridge piece that Mary painted for her.
Edward got a letter yesterday from Burd (Port Clinton) saying that May was much fatigued, and today Mary got one from (Yellow House) near Duglessville, they left P.C. at 12 oclock and travelled slowly until dark. May was excessively fatigued and suffered the whole way. The next day (22) at 7 oclock she is rather comfortable this morning. He feared yesterday that he feared he could not get her home, expects to remain there until Saturday morning 24?

[[underlined]] Saturday 24. [[/underlined]] I painted a part of the day on N 104. This afternoon Mary, Harriet, Louesia, and Clara went to S.H. got a letter from Burd saying that May was not able to leave the yellow house yet.

[[underlined]] Sunday 25. [[/underlined]] We have had a quiet day, no company until this evening Catharine Levan took supper with us.

[[underlined]] Monday 26. [[/underlined]] I varnishd N. 102 and 103 this morning and painted most of the day on N. 104.
Louisia, Harriet, Clarra & Fanny went this afternoon to Orwigsburg, soon after they went Dr. Bannan & his friend Ridgeway came, then Revd. Mr. Lewis and Revd. Mr. Feltwell came, then Mr. & Mrs. Atkins and his married Sister came  Mr. Atkins paid me for the two pictures for Mary a check for $120. didnot take the frames. I think they wanted handsomer ones. She wants to have her two children painted when Mary comes home.
