[[underlined]] Wednesday 8. [[/underlined]] Mrs. Peale slept all night, and is better today than yesterday.
I painted a part of the day and cut the grass in front of Edward & Marys windows, I have not been very well.

[[underlined]] Thursday 9th. [[/underlined]] I commenced another Partridge Piece and painted all day on it. N. 104.
Mrs. Peale slept all night and has been better all day.
Mary went this afternoon to Philadelphia to see the Fair and expects to return tomorrow evening. 
We have had 2 or 3 showers today

[[underlined]] Friday 10th. [[/underlined]] Mrs. Peale didnot sleep so well last night, she felt nervous, perhaps in consequence of Mary being absent. I painted a good part of the morning on N. 104.
Mary came from Phil[[superscript]]a[[/superscript]]. this evening, she is highly delighted the Central Fair. she went last evening and again this morning an hour before it opened with Franklin, so she had a fine opportunity of viewing the Picture Gallery before the crowd came in, she is highly delighted with the pictures it being the most splendid exhibition of Paintings ever collected together in America and well displayed.
she took a hasty view of the various rooms and spent her time in the picture gallery.
Louesia picked two dishes of fine large strawberries this afternoon and gave us quite a feast this evening of them.

[[underlined]] Saturday 11th. [[/underlined]] Mrs. Peale slept well all night and is rather better and stronger today.
I have been very buisy all day and have nothing to show. Edward, Louesia & Fanny went this morning to Philadelphia intending to stop at Reading.
Mrs. Morris & son and Elizabeth Fisher called this afternoon, Mr. & Mrs. Atkins and his sister called also.

[[underlined]] Sunday 12th. [[/underlined]] Mrs. Peale slept well and has been better than yesterday. Brother George and Joseph Patterson came this morning to see her, they dined with us. Several farmers came to see Edwards Agricaltural Instruments this morning which kept me buisy till dinner.
