[[underlined]] Saturday 12. [[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 106, dead coloured the whole picture, excep putting in the young birds, the afternoon was cloudy and I didnot paint any.

[[underlined]] Sunday 13. [[/underlined]] I have spent a quiet day, no company  Theadore and Emma went to church, morning & afternoon. I have not been out of the house all day. T & E went this evening to St. Marks church.

[[underlined]] Monday 14. [[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 106. Mary came home from Holmesburg this morning left May much the same as she was when last there very weak, Brother George came this evening from Potte. and spent the evening with us.

[[underlined]] Tuesday 15. [[/underlined]] My Niece Henrietta Griscom & Daughter came this morning to see us. This afternoon Sarah Levan and her friend Mr. [[blank space]] of Germantown came 
It being a rainy day I was engaged in procuring various articles, viz. Materials for supporting the plaister bust, Apporatus for hanging a picture on while coppeying it, picture rings, bradds, small nails, nut Cracker night kee cutting pliars & another for dressing the feathers of birds, &c &c

[[underlined]] Wednesday 16. [[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 94 and 104. Mrs. Atwood came from Fluching this morning and spent the morning with us. 
Mrs. Cristy brought two of her pictures to shew us, one was grapes coppied from Mr. Lamdens and the other is several Apples from nature being her first attempt from nature which is very good.
Mary got a note from Burd saying that May was failing rapidly and can last but a few days.

Mary went to Holmesburg this afternoon and returned this evening, she found May better and as her Mother was with her, Mary returned.
