morning, she went to several Hot Houses to procure flowers for the wedding and took them up. This afternoon Louesia called and left articles of clothing for Edward as his is going to the wedding, they are to be sent by the Express tomorrow morning. I cleared off this evening

[[underlined]] Thursday 22. [[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 104. This morning Burd and Charles came and this afternoon Edward and Louesia & Fanny and slept here.

[[underlined]] Friday 23. [[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 104.  Louesia & Fanny went to W. Phila. about 12 and Edward H. & My Ed. dined at Miss Hubleys.
Mary returned from Potte. this evening.  we spent the morning with Mr. & Mrs. Randel, & the two Edwards spent the evening in our room not knowing where we were.

[[/underlined]] I didnot paint today because the rooms were being cleaned, stove fixed in the front room, in the midst of all this my brother Titian & Lucey came to see us from the City of Washington and Anna Peale. After dinner we prepared to go to Holmesburg being engaged to dine with my son Burd on Christmas day, no means of getting there on Sunday we are to start on 5th St. carrs for the dipot at 5 oclock.

[[underlined]] Sunday 25. [[/underlined]]  Burd, Mary & I went to Church this handsome church was handsomely decorated with evergreens &c. The sleighing is quite good in this neighbourhood. We were all engaged in preparing a Christmass tree last night for my grand Daughter Burdie, and this morning enjoyed the pleasure she expressed with it &c.
[[underlined]] Monday 26. [[/underlined]]   Mary & I left in the Carrs for the City they were much crowded with passiongers. We continued in the City carrs to Mr. Hubleys, without going home. Lewis Walker dined with us. We had a handsome Turkey Dinner, called at Franklins and took tea and spent the evening
