Dear Don,

Some years ago you loaned me a collection of 15 australites from Lake Disappointment (24*32'S, 125*13'E). Indetermined their densities and then returned them to you. I am now studying the variation in composition of australites at specific locations, by taking a small slice from each specimen, making a polished thin section, and analyzing it with the microprobe. If you still have the collection (or can obtain it) I would like to borrow the ones circled on the accompanying list for this purpose.

    With best regards.
               Sincerely yours,

                   Brian Mason

I wasn't sure how to denote the latitude/longitude degree and minute/second marks.
