The Red Sea on the other hand at Jidda has the appearance of a tropical coral reef area, with a great number of fish species, but a limited reserve of fish stock. This does not mean that the Red Sea at Jidda is a poor fishing area, but that for comparative surface area of water the Persian Gulf may potentially produce more fish than the Red Sea.
