The comet, seen in the 5-inch appears to have a rather large diffuse head. (not starlike) and a tail can be traced for about 1/2 a degree. Its position by Atlas, Schung, (1875 ?) appears to be 12h 0m -78.5. It is an inconspicuous object in field glass. |
