Worked again on the Velasque. Scraped it out at the finish.

Went over to the Ecole de Pharmacie to show Miss Sargent the Besnard decorations. Must say I could live & still be happy if I had never seen them.
Lesson in the French language ce soir.

Went to Sorbonne chapel to here the singing (high mass) and it was rotten. I mean I think they sang out of tune or something. Was to go with Miss Sargent but she refused to wait for me. Met her mother there & walked back with her.
Went to dine at the Van Winkles and met his three daughters & a cousin. Very nice time
After that to a farewell party at Miss Harwood's room. She goes Wednesday next to Villa des Dames at 79 Rue Notre Dame des Champs. Had a fine time there. Wish I had gone with Miss S. to the Luxombourg this A.M.
Had a terrible snow storm this P.M. & snow fell to the depth of one quarter of an inch. Terrible walking. Quiet evening in, surrounded by my whiskers.
