[[preprinted]] February SUNDAY, 23 1902.
2nd in Lent. [[/preprinted]]
Looked up a model this am. for Twachtman & myself to work from. Got, or think I have, the same one I had before.
This P.M. I went up and made my duty call on Miss Le Gierse. She was out at first but her sister & I amused ourselves by tacking up prints on the wall. Edyth came in later and we had tea and I saw her mother also but she did not look as if she felt well.
Had a nice call at Miss Sargent's after dinner.

Started a canvas from the same model, in Twachtman's studio 83 Boul. Montparnas. She is very handsome in profile against one of his landscapes.
Mr. Hoskens & wife & aunt went through tonight & I dined with them at Gare du Nord. He brought me some tobacco which seemed like nectar of the gods after this french stuff. Also some cigarettes.
They are going to Florence by way of Nice
Think the canvas will be lots of fun.
