Prado all day.  Guess I helped the gown a little today.  Took my coat to Dianni's tailor to see if he can find some similar corduroy.  Seems to think it doubtful.
Painted some in the room after I came home. Wrote mother tonight. Got a letter from her today in which she says the picture from Paris arrived all right - May 9th.  In tonight

Trinity Sunday [[/preprinted]]
A little late getting up and a rough house of some twenty minutes so we all ate at about 11 a.m. Went right to the Prado and found it closed as some of the custodians had gone to a funeral.
Lunch.
Spent most of the afternoon till dinner in the Botanical Gardens. It's a most beautiful and paintable spot and we had much rubbering to do.
Evening in.
